Approach
Capability and trust are different problems. The brain of a robot becomes more capable through better data and more training. Trust does not come from the same place. Trust comes from outside the brain: a layer between the brain and the body, that keeps the body under control, independent of what the brain decides.
The brain is free to imagine and evolve, but the layer between the brain and the body holds. We build that layer.
Founder
MindMotion, Inc. is led by David Braun. He has spent more than fifteen years working on robot control, the field that makes robot motion predictable and reliable. His research has produced methods for controlling complex robots in the real world, including humanoid systems he built and tested.
He holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. His work has been recognized with the NSF CAREER Award.
